My works have been published in Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, and English.<br\/>By education, I am a mechanical engineer and a lawyer.<br\/>However, literature has also become an important part of my life. I have been writing since 2009, and during these years I have written more than thirty books for children and adults.<br\/>At first, I focused exclusively on professional publications, reference books, a textbook, and even a study programme that I not only developed but also taught for many years at the University of Latvia.<br\/>Later, I turned to fiction: a historical novel, detective stories, science fiction, and short story collections covering a wide variety of themes.<br\/>The experience I gained across different literary genres eventually became the foundation for creating the OWLS TALES\u00ae Educational System \u2013 Children&#8217;s Life Orientation.<br\/>After my grandchildren were born, fairy tales entered my creative world. At first, they were simply fairy tales. But little by little, there were more and more of them. It sees in the dark, flies silently, and notices what remains hidden from others.<br\/>That is why I chose the Owl to be the storyteller of my fairy tales.<br\/>Although, to be honest, there is one more reason: wearing glasses, I look a little like an Owl myself.<br\/>But that is our little secret.<br\/>As my grandchildren grew, so did my desire to give children practical tools for life. As a result, these fairy tales became the foundation of the<strong> OWLS TALES\u00ae Educational System<\/strong> \u2013 Children&#8217;s Life Orientation.<br\/>Today, the OWLS TALES\u00ae Educational System \u2013 Children&#8217;s Life Orientation is an international educational project that brings together books, courses for teachers and families, audio plays, colouring books, discussion materials, board games, and other resources that help adults talk with children about abilities, friendship, responsibility, cooperation, empathy, and making thoughtful life choices.<br\/>All products within the system are created on the basis of my original literary works and are developed as a unified educational product line available in several languages.
